Frances Breden

Frances Breden is a curator and artist based in Berlin. With a queer-feminist approach, Breden uses the exhibition of art in public institutions as a site of political struggle, an opportunity to challenge dominant state narratives, and a space to uncover and emotionally process political violence. Intersectional accessibility and working collectively are also central concerns of Breden's practice.

From 2024-2026 I directed the municipal gallery Galerie im Turm in Berlin and led the curatorial programme.

COVEN BERLIN is a queer art collective focused on feminism, love, gender, and sexuality.

Sickness Affinity Group

Sickness Affinity Group (SAG) is a group of art workers and activists who work on the topic of sickness/disability and/or are affected by sickness/disability.
